Baked Apples

Feb 1, 2015

Baked ApplesMy daughter made these the other night and reminded us all how simple, fresh recipes are usually the best!

3-6 fresh apples, sliced
Few table spoons of real maple syrup
Few shakes of cinnamon.

Directions: Place sliced apples into baking dish. Drizzle with maple syrup, gently mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 for approximately 30 minutes or until apples are soft. (Baking time depends on thickness of apple slices so it varies.) Unsolicited tips: can also top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream—but honestly they are delicious (and far healthier!) just as is.
