The California Native Garden is full of spring blooms and on display during Descanso Gardens’ Earth Day Celebration.

Little ones can “make and take” Earth Day crafts from the Redwood Rest or head to Magnolia Lawn and “make and take” a science project.

Under the oaks, the California Shakespeare Ensemble tell nature-inspired stories suited to springtime. “The ensemble won many fans with its performance of Beauty & the Beast last spring at Descanso.”

And, meet up at El Portal for the “Wildflower & Pollinator Family Walk” to learn about the roll that animals and insects play in plant pollination.
