Suddenly the wind shifts and the ocean begins to roll and froth.

No, this isn’t watching an incoming storm along our dramatic coast, but the opening scene of Shakespeare’s Tempest.

Shakespeare by the Sea arrives, once again, for live, outdoor, summer theatrical performances. One’s taste of Tempest may be had on August 7th in Garfield Park, South Pasadena.

Wine, ruin, song, and hungry for love; it’s the Merry Wives of Windsor as performed by the Caltech Players beginning August 7th and running through the weekend of August 15th.

EXPLiCIT—or the extracurricular Players at Caltech (the “i” is imaginary)—is a student- and community-run organization with the aim of promoting theater at Caltech. A cast and crew of Caltech students, staff, alumni, and JPLers will “re-create the music, dance, and warmth of Renaissance England in the garden behind Caltech’s Alumni House.”
