That’s older than some people I know (never mind whether or not ten-year-olds are people yet). To celebrate their anniversary, and to kick off their summer exhibitions, they’re having a party this Saturday from 7 – 9 p.m. First things first: there’ll be a (cash) bar. Few things compare to drinking in a museum. More importantly, there’s the art: A Loose Horizon and Edgar Payne: The Scenic Journey. One is a retrospective of a California Plein-Air master, one a viewer-driven installation that explores the boundary between perception and logic. Both sound pretty nifty. If yours truly weren’t going to be in New York this Saturday, yours truly would almost certainly be at the PMCA.
