For the 50th anniversary of Pasadena Showcase House of Design, Natalia Pedroza and Melissa Corkern Davis of TasteBuds Culinary have created Table 50.
Ticketholders may partake of breakfast and a light lunch menu, as well as a dinner menu that includes daily soups, grilled entrées, quiches, made-to-order salads, and the Golden Anniversary Salad.
For the three remaining Friday nights of Showcase—April 25th, May 2nd and 9th—Table 50 offers themed dinners. A 3-course dinner, plus a glass of wine, for $25.
April 25th: Classic Burger & Craft Beer Night. Menu: classic caesar salad, burger on pretzel bun (beef, turkey, or black bean/chipotle), roasted potato salad with sharp cheddar and scallions, jalapeño macaroni and cheese with Panko crust, craft beer tastings, and a customized ice cream bar.
Evening musical entertainment provided by the Pasadena Conservancy of Music.
May 2nd: Fiest Night. Menu: fiesta salad, fresh taco trio (choice of beef, chicken, or grilled fish), homemade beans and rice, fresh tortillas, chips and salsa bar, and très leches cake with fresh raspberry sauce.
Musical accompaniment provided by a traditional mariachi band.
May 9th: Gourmet Pizza Night. Menu: baby mixed greens with gorgonzola crumbles, candied walnuts, dried cranberries, and balsamic vinaigrette; choice of personal pizza, antipasto, and tiramisu trifle with fresh mascarpone and chocolate covered espresso beans.
Music provided by the Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts.
Table 50 has been designed with the “sophisticated and elegant” dècor of Town and Country Distinctive Events and the restaurant also features touches of Showcase House history.
