Another year, another speech… but this is one that’s sure to be both engaging and important. On Thursday evening Mayor Bill Bogaard and team are putting on a show to present the 2010 State of the City. The first half hour will be devoted to mingling and checking out tables touting various services and programs provided by the city. At 7, MC and Vice Mayor Victor Gordo will kick off the fun. There’ll be a color guard, a poem by Douglas Kearny, a video presentation of the year that was in Pasadena, and a talk by Mayor Bogaard about how the city is faring now, and what it’s looking toward in the years ahead. Afterwards, of course, refreshments will be served.
All residents are encouraged to attend, and even non-residents can come say hi.
