CoNcEnTr8s will lead the evening, featuring violinist Tylana Renga Enomot, cellist Peter Jacobson, and “the incomparable” William Logan on drums. The trios’ first album, RawBits, was released last December and play a mix of classical, rock, groove, and experimental.
The opening act will be Mataji Booker, an acoustic-folk-soul artist “with jazzy tendencies” (listen to her here) and there will be a DJ set by Planetlovetron Soundsystem.
Along with live music, Second Saturdays will have food vendors like Rasta Taco and Five Loaves, a photo booth, and Resistor Records will have new and used records in all genres available for purchase (for as little as one dollar).
If you know Jones Coffee, you can well imagine it will be a rousing evening.
Saturday, May 10th, June 14th, July 12th, & August 9th; 7-11 p.m.
