That’s what the Pasadena Museum of California Art will be doing on Saturday, September 22nd, as they celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Come around lunchtime and nosh with Nom Nom, Pie & Burger, and Cool Haus. Lube your gullet at the beer garden with Stone Ale, Brouwerij West, and Crispin and Fox Barrel Ciders. Once properly sated, you can visit the current exhibitions, Edgar Payne: The Scenic Journey and Layer: A Loose Horizon.
Attendees will be regaled with performances by El Haru Kuroi, We Break Cameras (great name), Crazy Band, Regal Degal (sounds like a beagle), and Dunes.
There will also be a lot of hands-on activities like a writing workshop with YA author Cecil Castellucci, making and flying kites, personalized pins, and “projects with nomadic art gallery Mastodon Mesa.”
Oh, yeah—and there will be birthday cake.
