Paint & Sip Sunday

Mar 9, 2016

600px-Brush_and_watercolours We became aware of Sugar Mynt Gallery only recently when Jane Szabo‘s innovative sculpture/installations were part of Sugar Mynt’s “Transparency” exhibit.

On March 13, Sugar Mynt invites you to a painting and sipping afternoon. Sipping wine, that is. Local artist Bonnie Lambert will have a painting of her choosing and she’ll walk guests through a re-creation of said piece of art, step-by-step. Paint, canvas, and brushes are included in the cost and the first glass of wine is on the house. Guests are welcome, and encouraged, to bring their own bottle to enjoy and share.

We’ve heard of friends who have participated in these sorts of events, and they speak of great fun and an abundance of laughter. You may create your own work of art, or something resembling that (or not resembling that; who knows, who cares?). Sounds like a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
