Coming soon to a town near you.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which means ever more Christmas music, Christmas shopping and Christmas parties. Only one of these things is fun in high doses (and even that’s a stretch): the parties.
You know who knows how to party, Christmas-style? The Altadena Arts Coalition, which is bringing a bit of the North Pole to town for the North Lake Shop-Hop Festival. Attractions include an art show from Gallery at the End of the World, photography, Santa Claus, local bands and, most excitingly for a landscape devoid of snow, sledding — on real snow! Food-wise, there will be soup from John O’Happy Days, tacos from the Park Bench Deli, hot chocolate from Steve’s Bike Shop and chocolaty goodness from Dip Me in Chocolate. Oh yeah, and there will be a raffle. Good old fashioned Christmas fun, conveniently scheduled to begin right after the nearby tree-lighting ceremony.
North Lake Shop Hop Festival
