A crowd favorite, the lion dance will be performed and Taiko drumming will resound thanks to Taiko Center Los Angeles—see below to watch them in Coldplay’s “Princess of China” video with Rihanna.

Traditional Vietnamese dance will be demonstrated by Lac Hong Performing Arts Group, and traditional Korean folk dance will be performed by Jung Im Lee Korean Dance Academy.

Xplore TKD will put on a Taekwondo demonstration and Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre Company will perform.

Ongoing crafts will be available to one and all in the courtyard, while the auditorium will have flower arranging demonstrations throughout the day. Docents will lead tours of the museum. And “try on a camel handler’s coat, unravel a silkworm cocoon, sit on a lotus blossom, touch real gold and jade, investigate a map, try an ancient dance, or relax in the travelers’ tent” at Journeys: The Silk Road, an interactive exhibit geared for families.
