It may be 100 degrees outside, but we’re all doing our best to pretend that it’s fall, and one of the best ways to do that is to attend the 15th annual Pumpkin Festival. Run by Kidspace, and serving as a fundraiser for the nonprofit children’s museum, the free festival takes place in Brookside Park outside the museum (which is open during the festivities).

You’ll find a pumpkin patch, of course, as well as crafts, games and a full roster of music, dance and theater performances. You’ll need to buy tickets for things like the bounce house and pony rides, but there’s plenty of free fun, too.
