After a rack of Big Mama’s pork ribs or Gourmet Grill Masters‘ chicken seekh kabob, cool yourself down with a Bulgarini gelato or enhance your waist line with one of Pam’s Sweet Shack’s funnel cakes. Don’t sweat the infusion of calories—you’ll be working it off dancing—as there will be three stages with live music at Pasadena Heritage’s Colorado Street Bridge Party on Saturday, July 12th.
The popular country-western, bluegrass, folk band Wreck ‘n Sow will be greeting folks with their music at the party entrance on Orange Grove Boulevard, while the stages will feature the likes of Pasadena staple Snotty Scotty and the Hankies, as well as the Donovan-Muradian quintet, nine Pasadena City College alum who enjoy classic rock and jazz and call themselves the FreeLancers, the local 60s, 70s, and 80s band Mercy and the Merkettes, and Stinky Felix with original members dating back to 1967.
After a round of socializing and dancing, it might be time for some sangria, gazpacho andaluz, and one of 5 paellas from Jesus Romero’s Social Paella. Or maybe a Bling Bling dumpling, one of Robin’s burgers, or pie in a cup from Memory Lane Cuisine.
If you are in need of something more potent than lemonade, then San Antonio Winery will be on hand, as will Craftsman Brewing and Eagle Rock Brewery. And, of course, there’s always the classic Bridge Party Rum Punch.
