Holiday City Market: Artisanal L.A. has teamed up with the City of Pasadena and the Old Pasadena Management District to create a all-day European market-inspired local shopping experience on Saturday, December 6th. Sixty vendors will be taking over Holly Street, teaming up with the area’s shops, restaurants, and cafés. Santa will be around for a photo op (noon-8 p.m.), hot cider will be available at The Market on Holly, hot cocoa at Waffles de Liege, and holiday carolers will be strolling (2:30-4:30 p.m.). “Makers” (i.e. vendors) include Three Little Figs, Simply Sofie, Roots Revival, Made in Mayhem, Objects with Purpose, Grist & Toll, and Munch. Re-Assembled: A Gathering of Assemblers. Gallery McGinty is hosting an opening reception for a group of local artists. Come see the imaginative works of Kate Carvellas, Carl Heinz, and Dave Lovejoy (“a maker of things”).

Other artists include Brian Dario, Helena Davies, Jeffrey Kibbe, Ben McGinty, Shelly Omatic, Jaime Sabatte, and Simeon Slovacek.

Enchanted Handmade: Handcrafted cutting boards, stuffed creatures, art dolls, folk art, textiles, hardware art, ceramics, holiday decor, jewelry, and handmade books may all be found at Enchanted Handmade holiday boutique on Sunday, December 7th.

Twenty-five artists will be exhibiting and selling their works, including ceramicist Sharon Mann, jeweler Molly Meng, Julie Ippoliti (see below), and Ramona Paloma Tile Studios of Sierra Madre.
