The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena presents their Christmas store this Saturday with 20 vendors selling handcrafted toys, jewelry, bath “luxuries,” candles, and decorative seasonal items. Their dining room will offer a Club-cooked lunch for $7 and guests are welcome to purchase home-baked sweets and treats. Guests may bid in their silent auction and participate in a raffle.

Bloom Again is a foundation that is hands on. They help women who are experiencing medical challenges by paying their rent, their utilities, or a car payment through their “rapid response financial assistance for living essentials.” Financial relief usually arrives within 48 hours.

This Saturday, December 7th, Bloom Again will hold their Holiday Boutique of Women Artisans at the Women’s City Club of Pasadena. Jewelry and handbags by Laurie Sams, Bernadette Garland, and Sonserae Lesse-Calver will be for sale as will ceramics by Mims Ellis. Artists and authors Synthia Saint James, Kelly Boesch, and Ci’Monique Green will sell their goods, while Donna Chaney is the booth to visit for “dog gifts.” Emma Mosley will be displaying accessories and Nadine Harris will offer holiday home decor.

Gift wrapping by volunteers will be available, as well as complimentary snacks and door prizes.
