Geneva Lewis began with the Pasadena Symphony and Pops as a violinist at the age of eleven. Now that she’s won first-prize in numerous competitions, performed with local symphonies, as well as at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and atCarnegie Hall, and she has reached the mature age of fifteen, Geneva is headed to the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition in Austin, Texas.
In preparation, the Pasadena Symphony is hosting a free performance with Geneva presenting her competition repertoire with works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Beethoven, Brahms, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Henryk Wieniawksi.
Geneva attends Colburn Community School of Performing Arts and is under the tutelage of Aimee Kreston, Concertmaster of the Pasadena Pops.
