If at any point in the last fifteen years you were a 13-year-old girl, you read Francesca Lia Block. If  you’ve known any 13-year-old girls, you saw them carrying around those neon and black paperbacks. So for all of us who are, who were or who know one of those girls, here’s your chance to finally meet Block in person. She will be discussing and signing her new book, The Waters & The Wild, at Vroman’s this Friday at 7 p.m.  You will be happy to know the protagonist is a 13-year-old girl. All is as it should be.
