Erika Oller, a Pasadena native who graduated from Westridge School back in 1960, is now the Cynthia Clark Maxwell ’71 Artist in Residence at her alma mater. The endowment aims to bring local artists to campus, making it possible for art students to benefit from the talent of the Los Angeles area. Oller, an artist, painter, author, and illustrator, has won the Blue Ribbon Picture Book Award from the Center of Children’s Books. She is current a signature member of the Watercolor West Transparent Watercolor Society, something we now want to join. Awesome.
A reception and showing of her artwork will be held on the Westridge campus this week.
Thursday, March 19
Sigrind Burton ’69 Gallery in the Fran Norris Scoble Performing Arts Center
Westridge School, 324 Madeleine Drive, Pasadena
