If you’ve ever been to the Norton Simon, it’s hard not to notice the abundance of Degas. The place is lousy with them. They’re everywhere, a race of tiny inky dancers. If you’ve ever wondered about those dancers, the principles underlying their fluid grace, you might want to stop by the Norton Simon this Friday at 6, when a Museum educator will give a one-hour tour of the collection’s many Degas holding, discussing all the while, or at least some of the while, his signature subject: bodies in motion.
