The Concours d’Elegance has fast become one of the premier classic car shows in the country, and it’s returning to Brookside Park this Sunday. At dawn, more than 350 vintage automobiles will parade into the Rose Bowl area, from horseless carriages to European sports cars, ’50s muscle cars to Aston Martins. After the judges do their thing, the show will open to the public at 10 a.m., and all the cars will be on the Brookside lawns for buffs to explore. Proceeds from ticket sales ($25, with kids 12 and under free) go to the Assistance League of Southern California, to support its many good works on behalf of low-income children and seniors.
