Blushing Bubbles

If you’re into “production and tasting notes”—if you know what that actually means or would like to know what that means—POP Champagne Bar in Old Pasadena invites you to Blushing Bubbles.

POP’s 2nd Blushing Bubbles class is back by popular demand (the first having sold out). Certified Sommelier Michael Scribner leads the way, covering the production and tasting notes of rosé sparkling wines and rosé champagnes.

Along with a slideshow and handouts, guests enjoy a flight of 6 different sparkling wines and champagnes “in order to demonstrate how various factors affect the observable qualities” of what is being tasted. To keep pace, complimentary cheeses and sliced baguette are available throughout the class.

Guests are asked not to wear any cologne or perfume; can’t overwhelm the senses!

Seating is limited to 25 persons.
