Blogging for your Business with Petrea

Mar 22, 2010

Petrea Burchard, the mastermind behind the excellent Pasadena Daily Photo (and frequent Hometown commenter), will be running a salon at the Women’s City Club of Pasadena on making your blog work for your… work! Entitled Blogging for your Business: Ten Tips for Putting your Best Cyberfoot Forward, the talk will cover etiquette, networking, generating revenue and other issues crucial to commercial internet citizenship. Despite the venue’s name, men are, in fact, welcome. As per the club’s rules, dress is business casual — no denim. Entry fee includes the talk and some fancy hors d’oeuvres. There will also be a cash bar for your mingling needs. In addition to being a weblog guru, Petrea has had quite the TV career.

  1. Who’s the young girl in the BnW foto!? 😛

  2. Petrea says:

Ha ha! Thank you, William, this a pleasant surprise.

Cafe, that’s an old publicity still. I’ll have to have to send something more recent to William in case he chooses to be so kind in the future.

    On second thought, maybe not!

About that TV career: turns out I’ve seen her lots of times and didn’t KNOW it! Well, of course that was before I met her! As I told her once, we all who do this thing in the San Gabriel Valley are planets, and Petrea is our sun. Salon with Petrea just sounds good!
