The South Pasadena Music Center will be the location for the quarterly literary event called “Beginning Again” presented by Personal SPACE.
This is an evening of “true stories told by local writers on a theme.” We are told the event usually sells out, so we encourage those interested to rsvp asap.
Participating writers include Pasadena Magazine contributing writer and author of “Learning My Son Was Autistic” Kate Movius, Matt Berry, Desa Washington, Jessica Williamson, Andrea Stein, and Gordon Henderson who’s an artist and writes “The Incident Report,” a storytelling podcast for KPCC. Walter Zooi will be providing a musical performance and the event will be curated by Karen Rizzo who has written essays for the Los Angeles Times. Her novel Famous Baby will be published in spring 2014 by Prospect Park Books.
Saturday, Jan. 18th, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
