2-Day Painting Workshop in the Arroyo & Eaton Canyon

Laurie Hendricks, owner of Laurie Hendricks Gallery on Mission Street in South Pasadena, leads a 2-day plein air painting workshop June 16 and 17.

Each day the workshop begins at 10 a.m. and continues for six hours until 4 p.m.

Saturday’s location shall be in the Arroyo Seco and Sunday’s class is scheduled for Eaton Canyon.

Class size is limited and the total cost for twelve hours of instruction, demonstration, and on site painting is a reasonable $200.

Laurie Hendricks, M.F.A., is a California Plein Air painter, with origins from San Francisco and the Bay Area. She first moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and after some success in this field, turned her focus to painting full time once her two daughters were born.  From New England roots, she is a direct descendent of painter John Trumbull, best known for The Signing of the Declaration of Independence and other depictions of the American Revolution.
