Warm and welcoming, this little family restaurant has an open kitchen, a tiny patio out back, about eight tables – and some of the most delicious guacamole ever, chunky and fragrant with cilantro and limes. Fresh-squeezed juices of all kinds – check out the carrots in the fridge! – accompany breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Vampiro (a Mexican interpretation of the stateside “suicide” combo of all fountain drinks) is red-tinted (of course) and combines both fruit and veggie juices. Homemade tortillas wrap delicioso burritos and seafood tacos, and the chile verde is heavenly. A small but sparkling gem.
