South Pasadena’s new foodie hot spot is the place to get a scone and latte for breakfast or a sandwich, strada (layered cheesy casserole) or little hand-thrown pizza for lunch. It’s primarily a bakery, and it’s damn near impossible to leave without ordering a brownie or an entire blueberry pie to have “for later.” Toddlerphobes beware: This place has been discovered by hip moms ‘n’ dads, who discuss preschool options while their colorfully clad offspring vocalize and wander.
