Just when you thought it was time to diet and swear off three-course meals, along comes DineLA, the ever-popular prix-fixe-a-thon that gives budget-conscious diners a chance to try new restaurants for less.

The city-sponsored DineLA Restaurant Week is in fact two weeks, from January 31 to February 5 (excluding Saturdays). To participate, restaurants offer three-course lunch and/or dinner menus at one of three price points: Deluxe ($16 lunch, $26 dinner), Premier ($22 lunch, $34 dinner) and Fine Dining ($28 lunch, $44) dinner.

The list is vast, so to look for your favorite (or would-be favorite) places, go to the site, Among the local participants are: Palate Food & Wine, Bashan, Café Bizou, Green Street Restaurant, Cheval Blanc, POP Champagne & Dessert, Il FornaioHot Stuff Café, Madeleine’s, Maison Akira and Sushi Roku.
