We love Connal’s burgers, even if they’re a bit salty. The buns are warmed on the griddle so they’re a little bit shined and fragrant with grease. And we love the old-fashioned tiny crushed ice for the fountain drinks, which are carbonated just right. All in all, this is a fine example of a hometown burger joint. Order at the inside counter if you’re going to sit at one of the Formica tables, or at the outside window if you’re taking out.
