Buttermilk pretzel rolls. Goddess salad. Brown-butter shortbread. If you have not been to Little Flower, the café on Pasadena’s western edge of Colorado Boulevard, then you have not been fortunate enough to try those creations. They, and many more just as beloved, are featured in owner/chef Christine Moore’s new cookbook, Little Flower: Recipes from the Cafe, published by Pasadena’s own Prospect Park Books.
The book officially launches Saturday, September 15th (arriving in bookstores and Amazon within a week, but already in stock at some gourmet and gift shops). To celebrate, Moore and Prospect Park are throwing a big party, and all of Pasadena is invited. There will be food. And drink. And a Gypsy band. And fun locals. And, of course, signed copies of the book. It’s all free (well, not the book).
