Empanadas from Cambalaches’s food truck

It’s the final event of the season and it will be full of pet-able fluffies!

The last Fancy Food Truck Friday of 2013 will be September 13th.

In addition to the popular Cambalache’s Argentinian Truck, Roll ‘N Lobster, and Sweet E’s Bake Shop, the newbies attending this finale will include Red Beanz & Rice with their jambalaya, jerk chicken, tilapia, and gumbo, and The Reuben Truck, which is self-explanatory.

Another newbie will be Trailer Park Truck. Their menu lists something called Blue Ribbon Frito Pie—”fritos smothered in gooey housemade cheese sauce, seasoned 100% Angus ground beef, housemade secret sauce, applewood smoked bacon, and fried onion rings.” Other menu items include their trailer park burger, shotgun shells ‘n cheese, and Aunt Mimi’s chicken and waffles. Of all days, make sure you don’t skip your daily hike, run, or gym workout on Friday.

Along with creative eats, the Pasadena Humane Society is bringing the dogs out. Meet and greets will be the norm of the evening, so don your emotional armor and be ready to hear the kids’ pleas to bring home 5-month old tabby, darling Danica or Parson Russell terrier mix snuggling Snuffy (animals available on PHS’s site right now).
