Holiday party season is upon us. The food and fixings abound and the drinks flow freely.  With wares from Glassell Park artist Bari Ziperstein this year, you can be the consummate holiday guest. Add a set of Ziperstein’s handcrafted ceramic coasters to the usual gift of a bottle of wine or bourbon for your holiday host. The LA Times notes that Finnish patterns and the California desert are the artist’s main inspirations for her collection, which also includes jewelry, vases, and lamps. These ideal holiday gifts are being offered through her BZippy & Co. website, or at a number of Eastside retailers, such as Highland Park’s Platform or Silver Lake’s Reform School.
