L.A. might not have an NFL football team of their own, but that’s not stopping some city watering holes from getting in on this Sunday’s Super Bowl action. This year’s contest between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos (Go Hawks!) will be the main attraction on the flat screens at bars and restaurants city-wide. The L.A. Times reports that Atwater’s private event space Chloe’s at Golden Road Brewing will be broadcasting the event on its 120-inch big screen to be exact, and offering the pub menu and an array of GRB brews to go with it. Echo Park’s Mohawk Bend too, says the paper, is enticing patrons with an irresistible bottomless pizza deal. $30 at the locally-sourced eatery will get you more pizza than you can shake a football at.

More deals are to be had pre-Super Bowl in Eagle Rock at Little Beast. Eater LA notes that through Saturday you can get half off small plates (excluding daily specials) at this progressive comfort food purveyor, with select wines and beers at $5 and $4, respectively.
You may have noticed Silver Lake breakfast mainstay Millie’s Cafe was closed for a short time last week. Echo Park-Silver Lake Patch reports that an undetermined infestation and other minor violations had the restaurant closing its doors for the day on January 21.
