Strike up great late night conversation at Allumette over some drinks at their brand new happy hour. Beginning today, this Echo Park establishment, rated as one of Bon Appetit’s ‘Top 50 New Restaurants’, will be running nightly late-night happy hour specials from 10:30 p.m to midnight. The new happy hour will include the same deals offered earlier in the evening – beer, wine and a cocktail of the day for $5, $6 and $7, respectively – as well as a discounted shot and a beer special for $10.

Chef Gabriel Gordon – formerly of Beachwood BBQ – is putting the polish on classic pub favorites like Fish & Chips and Hot Wings.
- The same team behind Gingergrass and Square One has recently launched Silver Lake’s new Lucky Duck restaurant . LA Weekly reports the owners are bringing their tried-and-true approach to the old SiLa Bistro locale on Hyperion Avenue. With a raw bar, as well as savory rib eye and monkish entrees, Lucky Duck is another notch in Lake’s maturing restaurant scene.
- Former Mohawk Bend sous Chef, Miel Bredouw is growing her focus with Bramble Bakeshop. Echo Park Patch says she is baking up vegan-friendly goods, including cornbread muffins stuffed with jackfruit, from seasonal organic ingredients.
