  • York Boulevard near Avenue 53 was shut down this morning in Highland Park after a water main break flooded the street, reports KTLA.
  • Councilman Gil Cedillo’s decision to block bike lanes on Figueroa through Northeast L.A. is the most recent set back for bike lane proponents, reports the L.A. Times.
  • Boyle Heights residents tired of trash and abandoned furniture on streets and sidewalks joined a community clean up, reports Boyle Heights Beat.
