FRIDAY, February 22

Club 90’s: Myspace Y2K Dance Party at Los Globos: This Silver Lake party is taking it back to the days of emo bangs and lip rings with DJs playing the best of the ‘90s and ‘00’s including Britney Spears, Daft Punk and Backstreet Boys. $10. 10 p.m. Details.

Rap Up Dance Party at the Short Stop: Dance to your favorite booty shaking party anthems by the likes of Cardi B and Mac Miller at this weekly party in Echo Park. Free. 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Details.

SATURDAY, February 23

Stretch, Workout and Walk at Echo Park Lake: An easy workout and walk in the park for a healthy start to your Saturday. Free. 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Details.   

John Medeski’s Mad Skillet at the Lodge Room: Mad Skillet combines the eclectic jazz background of keyboardist John Medeski with the heat of a legendary New Orleans rhythm section to create a “universe of limitless potential.” $25. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Details.

Indian Wedding – The Show at the Lyric Hyperion Theatre: Get a glimpse inside a your typical Indian wedding … but funnier. $10. 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Details.

Wild West Film Series: Curse of the Undead at the Autry’s Wells Fargo Theatre: Watch the first vampire Western released in 1959 about a black-clad gunslinger’s arrival to a small Western town and the ensuing deaths. $0-$14. 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Details.

SUNDAY, February 24

Sports Trivia at Golden Road Brewing: Sports fans don’t miss out because this trivia night is for you. $1. 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Details.

Suburban Fight Pro Wrestling at the Hi Hat: Watch as wrestlers Priscilla and Tuna fight it out in a Highland Park rematch. $15-$20. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Details.

Reading and Book Signing with Poet Yesika Salgado at Kaleidoscope Kollective: Listen to  poems of love and perseverance as Salgado shares excerpts from her recently published poetry collections, Tesoro and Corazon. Free entry. 6 p.m. Details.

Make Your Own Camera Obscura at the Echo Park Film Center: Make a 17th century camera using a few simple components all provided by EPFC. $60. 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Details.
