Plus, both locations with be sweetened up with the offering of the crunch coffee cake. The changes stem from owner Valerie Gordon’s reorganization plan, which included the November 26 closure of the location at the historic Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles, which opened in 2013. The Boutique is at 3364 W. First St. in Historic Filipinotown. Valerie Echo Park is at 1665 Echo Park Ave.

Echo Park maybe losing a coffee house but it’s gaining a candle shop.  P.F. Candle Co. has opened a store inside a former boutique at 2213 Sunset. The company’s apothecary-styled candles, sold in signature amber glass jars, have been available at big chains like West Elm and Urban Outfitters.
