James Patrick Aspinall is a 27-year-old Echo Park resident battling Cystic Fibrosis and is awaiting a double lung transplant at USC Hospital.. We have already received so much support from friends and family but as we await the transplant we are doing all that we can to meet our goal!

Last September while he was visiting me his lung had collapsed causing irreversible damage that has forced him to relocate here permanently.

These days Patrick spends most of his precious time at the hospital or resting at home, often struggling to do things many of us don’t even think about – like taking a walk or cooking dinner. As he progresses into the end stage of Cystic Fibrosis, there are no more options left and a double lung transplant is necessary for survival. For Patrick every breath has become a battle; and every treasured second has become a win.
