Boyle Heights shooting leaves woman dead on Euclid Avenue

Woman was shot and killed on Euclid Avenue in Boyle Heights


Boyle Heights  — Police are working to identify the suspect or suspects in connection with an early morning shooting today that left one woman dead.

Officers were called to the 900 block of Euclid Avenue at about 5 a.m. and found a victim, a Latina in her mid-30s, with multiple gunshot wounds. said Officer Lizeth Lomeli, a spokesperson for the LAPD.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers currently have no suspect information. and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, said Lomeli. The investigation is ongoing.
