Girl dies in Cypress Park fire on Thorpe Avenue
Cypress Park  —  A 10-year-old girl was killed and two adults, including a firefighter, were injured in an early morning house fire in the 3300 block of N. Thorpe Avenue, said the L.A. Fire Department.

Firefighters searched the one-story home and found the girl, who was taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead, according to the LAFD. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which was reported at 4:28 am, in about 15 minutes.

In addition to the girl, one adult and a firefighter were injured and taken to a hospital. The firefighter was injured after a vehicle ran over a hose line.

KTLA reports that a family of six lived in the home.
