Jazz singer Barbara Morrision kicks things off Sunday evening with her jazz program. After a twenty-year career, Morrison has been called legendary, acclaimed, and compared to some of the greatest female jazz and blues singers. She’s appeared and performed with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, and Ron Carter, and she toured Europe with Ray Charles. She is an adjunct assistant professor at the UCLA Herb Albert School of Music. “Her singing has been described as ‘soul stirring, sizzling,’ her style, ‘graceful,’ her pacing, ‘flawless.'”

The Taste of Levitt Pavilion Pasadena will have homemade lemonade from N.A.T.H.A., mini doughnuts and shaved ice from Bittie Bitez, hand-made sandwiches from 7ate9, grilled cheese variations from the Grilled Cheese Truck, and coffee, tea, sliders, and fries from Ideal Youth.

There will be pre-concert activities with a KidZone and other options.
