Creativity knows no bounds they say, so we’re stretching the definition of our “Creative Types” category once again. This year, the annual holiday tour of Pasadena’s glorious Castle Green takes on a creative Dickensian twist.
Charles Dickens’ festive and enduring vision of Christmas transforms Castle Green into a Victorian wonderland…Experience firsthand its restored 1890’s splendor…Enjoy the turn of the Century décor, music, entertainment, and many other holiday traditions inspired by Dickens’ colorful tale. (CastleGreen.com)
This is a self-guided tour with admittance to the Grand Salon, the gardens, and over 25 privately owned condominium units. Dickens’ holiday-inspired victuals will be available for five dollars a plate and Victorian Santa will be among the attending. For an additional fee, a Victorian silhouette artist will offer his artistry. If you don’t wish to be embodied in such a manner but wish for others to be so, said artist can work from a photo.
