But Buffy is long in Sarah Michelle Gellar’s rear view mirror and on April 10, she will discuss and sign her cookbook Stirring Up Fun with Food: Over 115 Simple, Delicious Ways to Be Creative in the Kitchen.
(Is it just us or are subtitles getting longer and longer for no really good reason?)
From Gellar’s introduction:
How often do you hear, “My kid doesn’t eat vegetables” or My kid only eats white food”? I was determined that I would never utter these phrases about my kids. And I knew from the start that I didn’t want to hide ingredients. I wanted my children to know what they were eating, and through exploration, I believed they would learn to love different flavors (even Brussel sprouts—peeled apart, seasoned with a little truffle salt and shaved Parmesan cheese, and baked did the trick). By making them creative and fun, I was able to remove the stigma that vegetables weren’t delicious.

It seems that Gellar’s husband Freddie Prinze, Jr. (She’s All That and Scooby Doo) is a foodie author, too, and an admirer of the subtitle: Back to the Kitchen: 75 Delicious, Real Recipes (& True Stories) from a Food-Obsessed Actor (Rodale Wellness, 2016).
