Advertising

Hometown-Pasadena.com is now accepting advertising from a limited number of like-minded businesses. Here’s the story:

Hometown-Pasadena.com is all about community, and our community is growing fast! Since our redesign in February 2009 our readership has grown tenfold. We are currently averaging:

— 37,000 visitors per month
— 150,000 page views per month

And those numbers keep increasing, especially with the launch of our new Hometown Pasadena Facebook Fan Page.

More importantly, we have built a community of readers who check in frequently for our interviews, food stories, features, events, restaurant and book reviews, history and Concierge, our listings of recommended professionals and tradespeople. Our editorial content is smart, informed, entertaining and (unlike at many other online and print publications in town) completely free of influence from advertisers.

And now this community of readers is connecting with well-designed ads from some of the most respected businesses around. Our recent advertisers include: Tom Sawyer Camps, Super King Marketrealtor Darrell Done, Maude Woods, Plati German Car Service, Motif, the Institute for Girls’ DevelopmentPartnership Painting; Dream Dinnersrealtor Carrie Benuska and Balanced Concepts Pilates.

We only have a few ad spaces, and they’re filling up fast, both because of our high-quality site and our modest rates. Ranging from $50 to $500 per month, our rates are dramatically lower than print publications. But how many coffee-table magazines get 150,000+ hits per month?
