In Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural and Bookstore

Aug 23, 2013
Seeing the penacho on the lovely Mexica lets folks know part of the focus at Tia Chucha’s.  Sections in the book store include Spanish, Bilingual, Chicano, picture books…and so on.
There is a part of the store that is very clearly art/crafting space and jaranas hang on the wall.
There are other aspects that have to do with identity and change.
This was a poster in Tía Chucha’s bathroom.
Yes, it’s a bit blurry, but the ideas are strong and clear.
Loved this writing on the wall.
