One of Nancy Kyes's found-object assemblages
This Saturday brings an opening for a new show at the Brand Library Art Galleries of three local artists: Joyce Kohl of Altadena, Nancy Kyes of South Pasadena and Irena Rauliatitis of Glendale. Their styles are different — Kyes is a sculptor known for large, detailed assemblages, Raulinaitis is a printmaker, and Kohl is a sculptor whose work is intensely geometric — but all share a love of working with found objects.
The show runs from June 27 through July 31, and the opening reception is Saturday, June 27, from 5 to 8 p.m.
